"Want my nipple!" Yes, this needs explanation - scratching at his nipple is a comfort habit Quinn picked up after having Eczema on it. At one time we were covering it with sticky-all-around band-aids to keep his hands off it - he doesn't appear to be doing any damage now, but he still has the habit. In fact, on a recent trip, a woman in a service station exclaimed "Oh! He's scratching his nipple! I have to tell my husband - I thought my daughter was the only child in the world who did that!" Her daughter, now five, has mostly stopped - so I guess it won't go on forever!
"Want DVD, Daddy!" (Eh, 21st century kid all right)
"Squiiiiiiish!" (accompanied by squeezing of parent, often as part of a hug)
"Boing, Mommy! Boing, Daddy!" - meaning jump with him on the trampoline.
"Happened, Mommy?" (Quinn's version of 'what happened')
"One, set, go!"
"I do I by self!" (I'll do it by myself!)
